Classic Fizz

Gin Fizz

Light, refreshing and unmistakably classic, the Gin Fizz combines gin, citrus and soda water into one of the most enduring long drinks in cocktail history. The silky foam softens the bright acidity while preserving the cocktail's refreshing character.

Gin Fizz served in a highball glass with a tall silky foam and a lemon wheel garnish, photographed on a warm off-white surface.

Late 19th century
Place

The Gin Fizz evolved from the Sour family during the late nineteenth century and quickly became one of the defining long cocktails of the classic era.

  • Use cold soda with strong carbonation.
  • Pour gently to preserve both carbonation and foam.

FOAMY WHITES Note

FOAMY WHITES produces a stable foam that integrates naturally with the carbonation while eliminating the need for fresh egg white.
